“A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step”. And a single step made us respond to the call to revive the important people in the mission – the Columban Mission Partners. For the last three months, the team had the chance to meet our partners from Cubao, Quezon City, Binangonan, Rizal and Malate, Manila, and visited some individual mission partners, too. Counting one’s blessings and sharing one’s resources became the by-word of every mission partner we met.

There is so much hope, love and joy in every story on how they have become Columban Mission Partners. Every encounter was full of thanksgiving.

The Mission and Vocation Promotion Teams organized activities in parishes where Columban Missionaries had worked before and where mission partners are still present in order to re-connect and re-build a stronger relationship, which can hopefully ignite more people to participate in the Mission of God and empower them to be missionaries.

We also tried reaching out to potential partners and making friends in the process. The team experienced the generosity of persons and the greatness of their hearts in responding to and helping the Columban Mission.

We have started the “Alkansya” project.  We are grateful to the following establishment and schools which have committed themselves to become our mission partners for the project:  Savemore; Child Jesus of Prague School, Binangonan; St. Columban College, Olongapo City; and St. Joseph College, Olongapo City

We express our heartfelt gratitude to our mission partners, friends and benefactors who unceasingly support the Columban Missionaries through the years. We are so blessed to have you as our partners and friends in mission. Together we can be light to the world and salt for the earth and help others to live out this call and be missionaries in the world.
