By Lily Faunillan, Columban Mission Animator
I cannot forget the lovely sharing and conversation I had with Ms. Rosa Bandiola, one of the Columban Mission Partners from Isabela, Negros Occidental. Born on December 14, 1944, she is now almost 80 years old. Ms. Bandiola embodies determination, compassion, passion, and dedication as a teacher. For forty-four years, she generously shared her teaching skillsย with students in various Catholic schools, including Marikudo Catholic School, Progreso Catholic School, Marian Academy, Yusay Catholic School, and Nalipay Catholic School in Isabela, Negros Occidental, all under the guidance of the Columban Fathers.ย Additionally, she actively participated in different Apostolate works at San Nicolas De Tolentino Parish, such as adult catechism and conducting recollections on Sundays. She cherishes precious memories with the Columban Priests during their time in the Parish. Now, as I journey with them, it gives her hope and strength to know that the Columban Missionary spirit continues to thrive among us.
