On February 17, 2024, the Columban Missionaries in Cagayan de Oro hosted a cultural showcase titled “Pasundayag Pasalamat (Columban Mission Padayon)” to express our gratitude to the Mission Partners for their generous support over the years towards the Columban Mission. The showcase highlighted the different cultures of the Columbans – Peruvian, Myanmar, Fijian, and Filipino – who are serving the Archdiocese of Cagayan de Oro at present. The afternoon was filled with gratitude, learning, and fun as the missionaries showcased their talents through various dances and song numbers. Mission Partners near Cagayan de Oro especially from Barra and Igpit, Opol, Iponan, Upper Carmen, Kauswagan, Gusa, Tablon, Agusan, Balubal, Bugo and Jasaan graced the cultural showcase with their presence.
Thank you to all who gave their all-out support and made the event succssful, especially Columbans in Mindanao including priests, lay missionaries, FMA seminarians, co-workers and Patag house staff. Above all, we thank all Columban Mission Partners for their unwavering support to the Columban Mission!
